Franczek Expands Labor Practice With Return of Partner Jason Patterson
Franczek P.C. strengthened its position as Chicago’s labor and employment law firm with the return of Jason Patterson as a partner and co-chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. Jason rejoins the firm after several years providing in-house labor and employment counsel to a global technology, consulting and business outsourcing firm.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jason back to the Firm. He is a tremendous teammate and colleague and his prior experience with the federal government, in private practice, and in-house gives him a unique and invaluable perspective on our clients’ labor and employment challenges,” said Mike Warner, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group.
Public and private employers across multiple industries rely on Patterson to navigate complex workforce issues. Patterson dedicates a significant portion of his practice to traditional labor matters, guiding employers through union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the NLRB and state labor agencies. Drawing on prior service with the NLRB and the U.S. Department of Labor, Patterson brings an insider’s perspective to compliance challenges. Patterson also has extensive experience advising clients on workplace safety and OSHA matters. His time in-house at a global corporation makes Patterson particularly attuned and responsive to the business needs of employers and representation to employers.
“Franczek’s labor and employment practice has a deep and rich history, and I’m excited to be back and reconnect with colleagues and clients.” said Jason, “With the NLRB fully functioning again, meaningful changes are coming in traditional labor relations, and I look forward to working with clients to help them navigate what’s ahead.”
