Franczek P.C. Welcomes Partner Kaitlin Atlas

Franczek P.C. is delighted to announce that Kaitlin Atlas has joined the firm as a partner.

“Kaitlin has deep knowledge and experience in education law and is an accomplished speaker,” said Executive Committee Member Jennifer Smith. “She is a welcome addition to our firm and helps further strengthen our reputation as the premier education law firm.”

Kaitlin’s practice focuses on counseling K-12 and postsecondary clients on students and special education issues. She has significant experience defending clients in due process and student discipline hearings, and frequently works with clients on issues related to Title IX compliance, student records maintenance, and policy drafting. Kaitlin enjoys working proactively with clients to provide practical legal guidance on the numerous issues facing the school community and in particular enjoys presenting to clients on novel legal issues.

Kaitlin is an active member of the Illinois Council of School Attorneys and the National Council of School Attorneys. She is a frequent speaker at the Illinois Alliance of Administrators of Special Education, the Joint Annual Conference, and at school districts throughout the state. Kaitlin also regularly serves as a guest lecturer for school law classes.
