Vaccine Mandate

Earlier today Governor Pritzker announced a mandate for all teachers and staff at pre-K-12 schools, as well as students and personnel at higher education institutions, to be vaccinated. We know there are a number of questions surrounding the Governor’s announcement of a vaccine mandate for school employees, including questions regarding the required testing protocol or other implications for those not vaccinated. The mandate – which we expect to be in the form of an executive order – has not yet been released publicly. After it is released, we will be able to provide further guidance on compliance.
