Jason Patteron to Speak at National Academy of Arbitrators Conference
Franczek partner, Jason Patterson will speak at the 2026 National Academy of Arbitrators Conference, taking place May 20 – 23, in Chicago, Illinois.
The conference includes three days of learning and professional development for advocates and arbitrators. It features keynote sessions and smaller breakout discussions, all focused on practical, up-to-date insights and strategies to address current economic, legal, and technology-related challenges.

Jason will join a panel titled “Recent Legal Developments” on Friday, May 22nd. This panel will examine the significant shifts in the labor-management landscape over the past year, including executive orders, Supreme Court decisions, and recent activity and developments at the National Labor Relations Board. The panel will also explore the impact of these changes on parties, arbitrators, and practitioners, and consider which developments are likely to endure.

Jason Patterson is a partner a Franczek and co-chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group. He dedicates a significant portion of his practice to traditional labor matters, guiding employers through union organizing campaigns, collective bargaining negotiations, grievance arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the NLRB and state labor agencies In addition to his traditional labor work, Jason advises employers on core employment issues arising in day-to-day operations under federal, state, and local laws, including discrimination and retaliation claims, whistleblower matters, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, workplace investigations, wage and hour compliance, reasonable accommodations, health and safety matters, and workforce reductions.
