Franczek Partner Nicki Bazer Appointed to Governor Pritzker’s School Task Force

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker recently appointed Franczek partner Nicki Bazer to the Affirming and Inclusive School Task Force. According to the press release from the Governor’s office, the group is “tasked with identifying strategies and best practices for ensuring welcoming, safe, supportive, and inclusive school environments for transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming students.”

“Nicki is the only attorney appointed from a school law firm to this important task force,” firm president and founding partner Jim Franczek said. “It is a recognition of her significant dedication to the rights of all students. We are honored to serve the people of Illinois in this way. Our firm continues to be an important partner in the public-sector sphere, from the local to state level.”
