Celebrating 30 Years of Franczek P.C.

News & Announcements Press Releases

On February 14th, 1994, thirty years ago today, Crain’s Chicago Business reported that James C. Franczek, Jr. and 11 other distinguished attorneys had left four of Chicago’s most prestigious law firms to start a new firm dedicated to a few core practice areas.  The main strength of this new firm, Crain’s noted, was that the founding partners were, “very good lawyers as well as very good people.”

Since its inception in 1994, Franczek P.C. has proudly represented a wide range of businesses, governmental entities, and some of Chicagoland’s most renowned civic institutions in scores of high-profile legal matters affecting our city, region, and state. From strikes that grip the region, to societal changes impacting schools, to COVID-19 disrupting workplaces and schoolrooms, Franczek P.C. has been there not only to provide sound legal advice but to partner with our clients to navigate highly complex and often volatile situations.

Franczek P.C. has earned a reputation for unwavering dedication to client success. The firm has continuously evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of clients in a dynamic legal landscape, offering comprehensive legal and practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique challenges and objectives.

“Our firm truly is special,” said Jim Franczek. “The number of cases this firm handles that are front-page news is remarkable. It is gratifying to appreciate that a medium-sized law firm, with a clear and dedicated vision, has engendered the respect and confidence of so many clients on matters of great import to them and, very often, to the community at large.”

As Franczek P.C. looks to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to deliver innovative legal solutions that exceed client expectations. With a focus on integrity, excellence, and client satisfaction, Franczek P.C. is poised to continue its legacy of leadership for years to come.
