Advance Illinois Issues New Report Entitled “The State We’re In 2022: A Look at the Impact of Covid-19 on Education in Illinois”

On August 4, 2022, Advance Illinois, an independent education policy and advocacy organization committed to building an education system that strives for equity, stresses college and career readiness and completion, and supports the whole child from the earliest years through adulthood, issued a new report entitled The State We’re In 2022: A Look at the Impact of Covid-19 on Education in Illinois.

On that date, Advance Illinois President Robin Steans moderated a City Club Panel to discuss the reports findings.  The panel included: Dr. Carmen Ayala, State Superintendent, Dr. Janice Jackson Hope Chicago CEO (Former CPS CEO) and State Representative Michelle Mussman.
