Overview

Erin’s practice includes counseling on a variety of labor and employment issues and school law issues related to employee benefits and leave, employee discipline and discharge, workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation, student rights and discipline, and school board policy and governance. Erin has drafted and advised on noncompete agreements, separation agreements, employee handbooks, Board of Education policies, and student handbooks. She also works on union-related matters, including union organization, grievance arbitration, and collective bargaining. Erin has defended clients in suits alleging discrimination and civil rights violations, wage and hour claims, wrongful discharge, FMLA interference and retaliation, Public Safety Employee Benefits Act (PSEBA) entitlement, and tort law.
