Amy Dickerson and Emily Tulloch present “Fair and Balanced: Objective Investigations Under the “New” Title IX” at the National School Boards Association (NSBA) COSA’s 2020 School Law Seminar in Chicago. Using real-life, hands-on scenarios, this session covers the necessary components of an impartial Title IX investigation, including requirements under regulations currently in effect and recent OCR decisions and case law. This presentation reviews a checklist to be used in investigations to mitigate complaints of prejudice.
