Nicki Bazer serves as a panelist in this virtual discussion hosted by the Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) on the dynamics of CTU/CPS labor relations, and the lessons learned as a result of 2019 collective bargaining. The 2019 Chicago Teachers Strike was a watershed event in Chicago labor relations history, and its implications continue to be felt throughout the city; and, indeed, nationally. Nicki was involved extensively in the 2019 CTU/CPS contract negotiations, the strike, and its resolution.
