Shelli Anderson and Dana Fattore Crumley present “Diffusing Toxic Union/Management Relationships” at the Illinois Council of School Attorneys (ICSA)’s 33rd Annual Seminar on School Law. Toxic union/management relationships can quickly destroy a school district’s culture and learning environment for students.  This presentation provides creative tips for preventing bad blood and improving relationships that have already soured, such as identifying the elephants, exorcising the bargaining team, feeding the beast, embracing the enemy, coming down from the cheap seats and remembering pants don’t really catch on fire.
