Emily’s practice includes counseling on a variety of labor and employment issues related to discrimination, harassment, employee benefits and leave, and employee discipline and discharge. She has also drafted and advised on separation agreements, employee handbooks, and noncompete agreements. Emily represents employers before state and federal courts, and in administrative hearings before state and federal agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. Emily has also defended clients in general liability and complex commercial litigation matters. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Emily graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019, where she served as a junior editor for the Children’s Legal Rights Journal and a Legal Writing tutor. Emily received her undergraduate degree from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
