Overview
Audrey’s practice focuses on advising and representing public and private-sector employers in labor and employment law matters.
Audrey is passionate about providing comprehensive and creative solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Audrey has handled a diverse array of employment matters for Illinois and multi-state employers and schools. Specifically, Audrey has experience in counseling clients on discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination, wage and hour, leave policies, restrictive covenants, WARN, separation agreements and workplace privacy. Audrey also brings her experience as a commercial litigation associate where she successfully represented and defended clients in state and federal courts, including appellate court, in multiple jurisdictions. Audrey has experience developing case strategy, propounding and responding to discovery, drafting prevailing motions, engaging in arbitration and counseling clients through the pre-litigation, litigation and trial process in multiple states and jurisdictions. As a former Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Carl Ashley, Audrey developed the advanced legal research and writing skills needed to successfully represent clients.
In law school, Audrey gained extensive experience as a Title IX Advisor and was appointed as the Graduate Representative for the Title IX Student Advisory Board for the University of California Office of the President. Additionally, Audrey worked in the Office of Legal Compliance for the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was a Law Clerk at the California Civil Rights Department.
Audrey is a member of the National Employment Law Council (the "NELC") and an NELC Academy Alum. In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, watching movies and spending time with her friends, family and pets.
