Labor Relations Board Practice

Employers are often forced to defend themselves against unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) or similar state agencies.  Our attorneys are well versed in the substantive and procedural law under the National Labor Relations Act.  Our attorneys have significant experience representing clients before the NLRB in unfair labor practice matters, including the handling of NLRB investigations and defending against NLRB-issued complaints.  We have assisted clients in unfair labor practice charges pertaining to elections, bargaining, picketing and discrimination claims.  We also defend employers in NLRB-initiated 10(j) injunction actions and represent employer interests in union work jurisdictional disputes under Section 10(k) of the NLRA.  In the public sector, our attorneys are experienced in representing employers in disputes under the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act and Education Labor Relations Act and in proceedings before the Illinois Public Labor Relations Board and Educational Labor Relations Board.
