A School Law Primer on Teacher Discipline

Teacher discipline is usually governed by state law, board policies, administrative regulations, and collective bargaining agreements. Tenure can create other expectations of continued employment.  In this “boot camp” session for the Council of School Attorneys at their 2010 School Law Practice Seminar, Darcy L. Kriha and Jackie F.
