The Chicago-Kent College of Law Alumni Board of Directors presented Franczek Radelet Patricia J. Whitten with the 2011 Professional Achievement Award. This recognition, awarded annually since 1984, is given to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to one or more of the following fields including the practice of law, the judiciary, public service/government, business/commerce, or the media.

Franczek Radelet & Rose secured a jury trial victory on behalf of the University of Chicago in the matter of Vernon v. University of Chicago. Following a nine-day trial, a Chicago jury returned a verdict in favor of the University, which was represented by Franczek Radelet & Rose attorneys Jeff Nowak and Bill Pokorny.
