Three Indiana School Districts Have Filed Suit Against the State of Indiana Alleging Inequitable Funding Formula

Hamilton Southeastern Schools, Franklin Township Community Schools and Middlebury Community Schools, filed a lawsuit in Hamilton County against the State of Indiana arguing that their schools are not receiving sufficient funding as a result of the State’s long-held school funding formula.

Darcy Kriha was lauded by the Westmont Educational Foundation (WEF) for her role in the WEF's efforts to obtain 501(c)(3) tax exempt status as a public charity. It is hoped that this status will assist the WEF in raising funds for a scholarship program for local students.
