ABC interviews Michael A. Warner Jr. re: H1N1/Swine Flu and employer concerns
"When Should You Stay Home?" - Swine Flu OutbreakRavi Baichwal, ABC Channel 7

Chicago, IL
The H1N1/Swine Flu outbreak has employers and employees trying to figure out if there's "a new standard for when a case of the sniffles means you can't go to work." Firm partner Michael A. Warner, Jr. was interviewed for a ABC Channel 7 Chicago report on the H1N1/Swine Flu Outbreak entitled "When Should You Stay Home?" which aired during the ABC 7 News at 4PM broadcast of April 30, 2009.
Mr. Warner notes that when situations like the current outbreak occur, employers are engaged in a "balancing act" -- maintaining business operations while employees who feel ill stay home. A common problem for employers are those employees who are "too diligent" and turn up for work when they shouldn't and consequently spread a virus.
