Doug Hass authored the article “Could the American Psychiatric Association Cause You Headaches? The Dangerous Interaction between the DSM-5 and Employment Law,” published in the Loyola Unversity Chicago Law Journal on September 27.  Doug discusses the major role that the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) standards play for legal practitioners and the danger that overly expansive definitions of mental disorders could pose to employers and employees.  A mention of this article appeared on the Workplace Prof Blog on September 29.
