Labor & Employment Relations Association (LERA) - Chicago To Honor Jim Franczek

Today, the Chicago Chapter of the Labor & Employment Relations Association (LERA) will honor Franczek Radelet founder and president, Jim Franczek.  Jim, who has represented clients in the private and public sectors for over 40 years, is the only management side labor attorney honoree to receive the 2011 Distinguished Service Award from LERA-Chicago.  LERA chooses its Distinguished Service Award honorees based on the individual’s exceptional skill in the area of labor and employment as well as their ability to maintain the legal standards of LERA which includes working in a collegial atmosphere to foster an ongoing dialogue among labor, management, and neutrals in the Chicago community.

LERA is the singular organization in the country where professionals interested in all aspects of labor and employment relations network to share ideas and learn about new developments, issues, and practices in the field.  LERA provides a unique forum where the views of representatives of labor, management, government and academics, advocates and neutrals are welcome.  LERA-Chicago has more than 100 members.  For more information visit www.leraweb.org.

Earlier this year, Jim was named the Chicago Best Lawyers’ Employment Law - Management Lawyer of the Year for 2012 by Best Lawyers in America.  He was the only lawyer in Chicago in this specialty to be honored as Lawyer of the Year.  Additionally, the law firm of Franczek Radelet received the 2011 Illinois - Labor & Employment Law Firm of the Year Award by Global Law Experts (GLE).  GLE confirmed that Jim singlehandedly received the most nominations of any lawyer in the United States in the field of Labor & Employment during GLE’s extensive nomination and research process.
