Bill Pokorny was quoted in the August 8 issue of What’s Working in Human Resources in their regular “Answers to Tough HR Questions” column. The column featured a recent FMLA Insights blog post addressing medical certification forms under the FMLA. Bill indicated that a note from a doctor signed by the doctor and with all the required information, such as leave date and anticipated return date, should be accepted by the employer in place of a medical certification form.
