November 19, 2008

The American Association of School Administrators recently released a study, based on an October 2008 survey of school administrators, demonstrating the impact of the economic downturn on school districts in every region of the country. The study confirms the economy's negative effects on student achievement, student homelessness, and school districts' ability to deliver essential services, borrow funds, and sell off bonds. A summary of the report can be found on AASA's Web site
