Employers and employees alike are seeking out legal advice to confront the harsh economic downturn facing the country as reported here and in the Wall Street Journal. More and more workers are pursuing legal recourse with government agencies and private attorneys regarding their complaints of unpaid wages, and the federal Department of Labor as well as state labor agencies expect to see dramatic increases in wage claims. At the same, employers, faced with the specter of a much more aggressive agenda of federal workplace regulation, are turning to attorneys for legal advice and training.
