Americans With Disabilities Act Claims Likely to Increase

The article reports on the case of Tony Dewitt, an Illinois nurse who claims that she was fired after her husband was diagnosed with cancer and incurred substantial health care costs. The Seventh Circuit recently reversed a lower court's dismissal of Dewitt's claim, and the case is proceeding to trial this year.
