Andrea R. Waintroob is a
founding partner of Franczek Sullivan P.C. She represents
public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor
and employment law including equal employment opportunity,
union-management relations, labor negotiations, remediation
and dismissal of employees and wrongful discharge claims.
Ms. Waintroob also represents public employers on constitutional
issues and student rights. Her clients include school districts
throughout Illinois, other public sector entities and a number
of private sector firms in a variety of industries.
Prior to forming Franczek Sullivan, Ms. Waintroob was
a partner at the firm of Vedder Price Kaufman & Kammholz,
where she practiced for sixteen years beginning in 1978. Ms.
Waintroob also lectured at the University of Chicago Graduate
School of Business on labor relations and employment discrimination
from 1984 through 1996. She received her law degree, with
honors, from the University of Chicago in 1978 and graduated
magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in
American Civilization from Brown University in 1975. Ms. Waintroob
is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the National
School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys.
