Corinne S. O'Melia
represents public and private sector management clients in
all areas of labor and employment law. Ms. O'Melia has appeared
before federal and state courts, as well as administrative
agencies such as the Illinois Labor Relations Board and the
Illinois Human Rights Commission. Ms. O'Melia's employment
law practice has focused upon counseling and litigation in
connection with claims of employment discrimination, wage
and hour violations, and other related matters. She also assists
clients with a variety of traditional labor law matters, including
grievance and interest arbitration, contract interpretation,
collective bargaining, and unfair labor practice proceedings.
Ms. O'Melia joined Franczek Sullivan P.C. in September 2001.
She obtained her law degree in May 2001 from Northwestern
University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. In
May, 1998, Ms. O'Melia graduated summa cum laude with highest
distinction in History and Russian and East European Studies
from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is
a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar
Association, and the Chicago Bar Association.
