Julie Miceli joined Franczek Sullivan P.C. after having served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Education Section of the Ohio Attorney General's Office. As an A.A.G., Ms. Miceli represented both institutions of higher education and K-12 educational agencies, including the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio's Financial Planning and Supervision Commissions and The State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. Ms. Miceli also advised Ohio's public colleges and universities on a wide range of state and federal issues.
Before coming to the Ohio Attorney General's Office in 2003, Ms. Miceli held legal internships with the General Counsel's Offices of both the U.S. Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Education. Ms. Miceli has also worked and volunteered in various Southeastern Ohio schools as a Mathematics educator.
Ms. Miceli graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Mathematics Education at Ohio University and later obtained her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she focused her legal studies on Education-related issues.
Ms. Miceli is licensed by the Ohio bar and the Illinois bar, where she practices in the area of school law. |
