Scott Cruz represents both
private and public sector employers in all aspects of labor
and employment law, including, litigation and preventative
counseling. Mr. Cruz has represented employers in both federal
and state courts in matters involving employment discrimination
under Title VII, the ADEA and the ADA, retaliatory discharge,
and breach of contract. He also has defended employers before
state and federal administrative agencies and in labor arbitration
proceedings. Mr. Cruz assists employers in drafting employment
agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements,
and various employment policies.
Mr. Cruz received his law degree from the University of Illinois
College of Law in 2002. He obtained a bachelor's degree, cum
laude, in English from Marquette University in 1999.
