Dana Fattore Crumley represents school districts with respect to general matters of education law, with an emphasis in the areas of employment and personnel matters, special education, student discipline, and school board policy and governance. She has appeared before federal and state courts, and has significant experience representing school districts in special education due process hearings, labor disputes before the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board, and tenured teacher dismissal hearings.
Prior to joining Franczek Sullivan P.C., Ms. Crumley was employed as a public school teacher. She received her J.D. from Loyola University, where she was a member of the law journal, and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola's Graduate School of Education. She lectures frequently to students and professional organizations on various education law topics, and has taught school law classes at Loyola University's Graduate School of Education, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and Roosevelt University. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Council of School Attorneys.
