Brian P. Crowley is a partner at Franczek Sullivan P.C. representing school districts and assisting them in navigating through the complex legal issues they face on a daily basis. Mr. Crowley has significant experience pertaining to general government matters, business and financial issues, land use and real estate, Open Meetings Act and Freedom of Information Act matters, public contracting, and various general election law issues. Beyond school districts, Mr. Crowley has extensive experience representing other public entities such as city councils, village boards, plan commissions, county boards and park district boards. He has also served as public and private sector counsel in the negotiation and documentation of numerous transactions involving land use matters, private development matters and public financing matters.
Mr. Crowley also has extensive public sector experience with the State of Illinois. He served as associate counsel to the Illinois Speaker of the House, Michael Madigan, for a legislative term. Mr. Crowley was the primary attorney for the Illinois House's Local Government, Urban Revitalization, and Transportation Committees.
In 1997, Mr. Crowley graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law; in 1994, he graduated cum laude from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, where he majored in History and minored in Political Science.
