Andrea R. Waintroob
Andrea represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law including equal employment opportunity, union management relations, labor negotiations, remediation, and dismissal of employees and wrongful discharge claims. She also represents public employers on constitutional issues and student rights. Her clients include school districts throughout Illinois, other public sector entities and a number of private sector employers in various industries.
Prior to forming the firm, Andrea was a partner at Vedder Price Kaufman & Kammholz, where she practiced for 16 years.
Andrea has served as chair of the Illinois Council of School Attorneys. She was selected as an Illinois Leading Lawyer in 2008 and an Illinois Super Lawyer and Top Woman Lawyer in 2010.
She has lectured at the University of Chicago Law School and Graduate School of Business on labor relations and employment discrimination.
Andrea is an avid Chicago White Sox fan and loves to travel and hike. She is married to Wes Wildman and has two children.
